Corbin J. Robertson III is a seasoned energy and natural resources professional with vast experience in international corporate operations, private equity, portfolio management, and M&A and divestiture work. Mr. Robertson is currently an owner of various interests associated with the Robertson family holding companies and is also Principal of Quintana Capital Group (~$1 billion AUM at its peak) and Co-Managing Partner of LKCM Headwater Investments (>$1 bn AUM), two private equity firms that he co-founded. Mr. Robertson also serves as the Managing Member and President of CIII Capital Management, LLC, a SEC registered financial advisor, and has served as the CEO of the general partner of Western Pocahontas Properties LP since 2008 and as its directors since 2012. Previously, Mr. Robertson was Managing Partner of Spring Street Capital Partners LP, a successful small cap long/short hedge fund, VP – Acquisitions for the GP of Natural Resource Partners LP, VP for Sandefer Capital Partners, a then $500 million energy investment fund, and VP for Reservoir Capital Group, a multi-billion dollar New York-based investment firm. He began his career as a business analyst for Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group LLP. Mr. Robertson serves or has served on various boards of Quintana affiliated portfolio companies, including Natural Resource Partners LP (NYSE: NRP), Genesis Energy, L.P. (NYSE: GEL), Buckhorn Energy Services, and LL&B Minerals, LLC. Mr. Robertson graduated with a B.A. in Plan II and a B.B.A. in Business Honors and Finance from University of Texas at Austin and a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
